Church Outdoors & Ice Cream Party at 9:30am at the Peltolas'
This Sunday we'll meet at 9:30 am at the home of Randy & Liza Peltola. Their address is 53 Spring Branch Lane, Waynesboro. We will be worshiping in their front yard, so please feel free to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. You're invited to bring your own picnic lunch and stay after the service for some additional fellowship time. Additionally, we'll be having a home-churned ice cream party in honor of our rising middle schoolers -- we hope you'll stick around for a scoop!
In The Event of Inclement Weather, Worship Will Move Indoors at Greenmonte at 10:15am
In the event of any inclement weather this Sunday, the outdoor service will be moved indoors to Greenmonte at 10:15am (1661 Cold Springs Rd, Stuarts Draft). We'll follow the weather forecast closely and alert you to any changes by Saturday evening. If we do meet indoors, we request that everyone age 10 and older observe the Governor's mandate to wear a mask. The sanctuary has been appropriately prepared to seat people in accordance with social distancing guidelines.

Apologies for Our Technical Difficulties on Sunday
During our service on Sunday we had some live streaming issues and the service accidentally posted to Pastor Seth's Facebook account rather than to Greenmonte's. We apologize for the inconvenience for those who were trying to participate in the online service. We love and value every Greenmonte family member, whether you're gathered online or in person.
The good news is that the entirety of the service is now available for viewing on our Facebook page. We also have the audio and video from Francis Pereira's message on Facebook, Youtube and audio via our app and website. ComfortCare Women's Health is our local pregnancy resource center. They would like to thank Greenmonte for our contributions to their 2020 Baby Bottle Campaign. Together we filled our baby bottles with $1,201.70. These funds will go towards giving support, hope, and the love of Christ to moms, dads, and babies in our communities. Great job, Greenmonte!
Staunton City Revival Starting Tonight
Join local churches as we gather to worship & pray at the Staunton City Revival at Gypsy Hill Park from 6-9pm, starting tonight and running through Saturday. There will be special speakers for each evening. On Saturday evening Francis Pereira will be speaking, and Roger and Louisa Priore will be leading worship.
Discover Love INC Orientation
Love INC is a local Christian ministry that provides churches with opportunities to serve their communities with Christ's love. They are currently in need of volunteers for their thrift stores, particularly the store in Fishersville. If you'd like to find out more about Love Inc's philosophy of helping and how you can take part, you're invited to attend a Discover Love INC Orientation class on Zoom. Back-to-School "I Scream" Party - This Sunday
This Sunday we will celebrate our rising middle schoolers with an "I Scream" party. We'll be serving ice cream to everyone after our Church Outdoors service. We hope you'll stick around after worship to join us. If we have to move indoors to our church building due to inclement weather, the ice cream party will be postponed until the following Sunday.
Greenmonte Women's Retreat - September 11 & 12
On September 11-12, Friday evening and Saturday, there will be a Greenmonte Women's Retreat for ladies 8th grade and up. More details coming soon. Make sure to save the date!
