Church Outdoors & BYO Picnic this Sunday at 9:30am at the Peltolas'
This Sunday we'll meet at 9:30 am at the home of Randy & Liza Peltola. Their address is 53 Spring Branch Lane, Waynesboro.
The Peltola neighborhood is accessed by a one-lane road. Please yield to oncoming traffic by waiting at turns or pulling into someone's driveway (the shoulder is too narrow for pulling over). When you reach Spring Branch Lane, keep bearing left to stay on the paved road, which will lead you through a white fence marked with #53.
We will be worshiping in the Peltolas' front yard. In addition to lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on, please feel free to bring a pop-up canopy, umbrella, or whatever else you might need to protect yourself from the sun. You're also invited to bring your own picnic lunch and stay after the service for some additional fellowship time.
In the event of any inclement weather this Sunday, the outdoor service will be moved indoors to Greenmonte at 10:15am. We'll follow the weather forecast closely and alert you to any changes by this afternoon. If we do meet indoors for worship at Greenmonte due to the weather, we request that everyone age 10 and older observe the governor's mandate to wear a mask. The sanctuary has been appropriately prepared to seat people in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
This Sunday we will be livestreaming our outdoor service exclusively on Facebook at 9:30am. We will NOT be posting a service on our greenmonte.online.church platform. If worship is moved indoors at 10:15 due to weather, we will also livestream that service on Facebook.

No Ordinary Man
Our Bible reading this week is:
Matthew 5-7, 9, 14
Mark 4-6, Luke 10, 15
John 6
If you're reading in The Story book, this is Chapter 24. As you read, we encourage you to journal, pray, and share what you're learning with others.
Memory Verses: John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
From Julie Burkholder: Shaken Not Stirred - Three Day Virtual Women's Event (July 17-19)
Featuring 15 speakers (including Paul Robbins) and 4 worship bands.
Sign up for the whole conference, or only part of a day, but hurry. Registration ends tomorrow at noon (July 15). Below is the conference description:
In times like these, many of our hearts are heavy, our spirits are drained, and our mind is burdened. As women we can sometimes forget ourselves and pour into others so much that we have nothing left. We can’t pour from an empty pitcher.
It’s time, we need to revive, restore, and renew our spirits. It’s time to pour into ourselves that we may continue to pour into those around us.
This 3-day event is designed to help us get the tools, inspiration, and joy that we need to endure and refocus.
