Worship Plan for Sunday, November 8th

We'll see you for worship at Greenmonte this Sunday at 10:15am. We ask that everyone age 10 and older wear a mask while inside the building. Seating has been arranged for various levels of social distancing, according to your household's needs. We'll be streaming our worship live on our YouTube and Facebook channels.

News from Greenmonte Kids' Ministry

Update on Nursery & Kids' Church
Dear Greenmonte Family,
In case some of you missed the announcement two weeks ago, we are resuming our children's ministry, but with some modifications:

1) Nursery will operate on a self-serve basis, meaning that parents are welcome to take little ones (age 0-3) into the nursery and monitor them while they play. The live-streamed service can be watched on the TV to ensure parents still feel a part of the worship gathering. Please sanitize any used toys when you are finished.

2) Children ages 4-third grade will be released for Kids' Church after the worship time. We will be having one single class downstairs for the time being.

3) Due to the reduction I have in volunteers, we are currently not able to accommodate 4th-5th graders. We felt it was more critical to take the younger ones downstairs as they have the hardest time sitting still in "big church." However, I am still committed to the 4th-5th grade group and will continue to seek volunteers.

**If you are willing to help with Kids' Church on a rotational basis, please let me know!

Youth Group Upcoming Events!

Our youth group has several events coming up:

Sunday, November 8: BIG BALL TOURNAMENT!!! 1 - 3 PM at the tennis courts next to Stuarts Draft Middle School. The youth will be challenging some members of the church in a battle for ultimate bragging rights. Bring a lunch and a tenacious demeanor.

Saturday, November 21: Youth work project. We'll meet at Greenmonte at 9 a.m. and head down the road to Stoney Creek. We will be replacing a floor, among other things, for a couple, and hope to also shower them with Bible verses, prayer, and words of encouragement. This work project will not be for the faint of heart but is a great opportunity to bless a neighbor. We will provide more details this Sunday and in the weeks to come. You will need to RSVP to Dane Barr at 540-290-1037 if you think you can help with this project.

Fellowship Lunch & Christmas Decorating: Sunday, November 22
Mark your calendars! On Sunday, November 22nd, you're invited to stick around after the worship service for a catered fellowship lunch, followed by Christmas decorating of the church building. We can't wait to kick off the Christmas season together!
