Church Outdoors & Field Day This Sunday at 10am at the Peltolas'
This Sunday, August 29, we'll hold Church Outdoors at 10am at the home of the Peltolas (53 Spring Branch Ln, Waynesboro). Bring your own picnic lunch and join us for some fellowship time. After lunch we'll have churchwide field games and fun!
We'll be worshiping in the Peltolas' front yard, so please feel free to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. You're also free to bring an umbrella or canopy for the sun.
The Peltola neighborhood is accessed by a one-lane road. Please yield to oncoming traffic by waiting at turns or pulling into someone's driveway. (The shoulder is too narrow for pulling over.) When you reach Spring Branch Lane, keep bearing left to stay on the paved road, which will lead you through a white fence marked with #53.

From Dane Barr: Youth Fire Night This Friday
Our youth group is invited to a worship night this Friday at Common Ground in Fishersville starting at 6:30. Other youth groups in the area will be attending as well, and this is a fantastic event that you won’t want to miss. All middle school and high school youth are invited, and please invite friends!
Widow/Widower Support Group Starting September 7th
Isaiah 61 Ministries, a ministry partner of Greenmonte, is a Christian counseling center whose mission is to help people find their healing, wholeness, and freedom in Christ from the griefs and traumas of life. Beginning on Tuesday, September 7th, they will begin an eight-week support group for those dealing with the death of a spouse. This group will provide a better understanding of what is expected in the grieving process, as well as encouragement in knowing you are not alone.
