News for May 26, 2020

As Virginia enters Phase 1 of re-opening, we have established a worship plan for the next couple of weeks:

This Sunday, May 31st, 10:15am: Worship outdoors at the home of the Langellotis: 277 Tadpole Ln, Greenville, VA 24440. *Health precautions and social distancing will be in place. Those who wish to stay home can worship online at our Church Online platform, also at 10:15am.
*Note on directions: if you're using GPS, make sure to enter the address after you've passed Greenmonte, so that it does not bring you around to Route 11, which is a private road and locked gate.

Sunday, June 7th, 10:15am: Worship in person at our Greenmonte church building. Health precautions and social distancing will be in place. Those who wish to stay home can worship online at our Church Online platform, also at 10:15am.

For more details about what our worship will look like during Phase 1, please read Pastor Seth's letter.

Evening Devotion
For now, Evening Devotion at our Church Online platform will take place periodically, rather than every Wednesday evening. We'll let you know when the next one is coming up.

Fall of Judah: The Kingdom's Fall
Our Bible reading this week is: 2 Kings 21, 23-25, 2 Chronicles 33, 26, Jeremiah 1-2, Jeremiah 4-5, 13, 21, Lamentations 1-3, 5, Ezekiel 1-2, 6-7, 36-37. If you're reading in The Story book, this is Chapter 17. As you read, we encourage you to journal, pray, and share what you're learning with others.

Memory Verse:  Jeremiah 2:13- My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
