Evening Devotion Wednesdays at 8pm
Join us Wednesday, April 29th at 8pm on our church online platform for Evening Devotion. You're welcome to join in on chat before, during and after to share prayer requests and whatever else God might be speaking. We'll also have private prayer chats available. We look forward to seeing you there!

Give Blood - Give Life
There is a need for blood donations in our area as supply has gone down due to state and national lockdowns. As a church body, we want to consider giving blood as a way to give life to our neighbors. Check out our Give Blood page for dates and locations of upcoming local blood drives that you can participate in.

Solomon: The King Who Had It All
Our Bible reading this week is: Psalm 23, 32, 51, 1 Kings 1-7, 1 Kings 8, 10-11, 2 Chronicles 5-7
Proverbs 1-3, 6, 20-21. If you're reading in The Story book, this is Chapter 12. As you read, we encourage you to journal, pray, and share what you're learning with others. Memory Verse: Proverbs 16:18 - "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall."

Give the Gift of Flowers
Valley Young Life, a ministry that shares the gospel with teenagers in our area, is moving ahead with a new fundraiser to benefit their ministries and the students they serve: hanging flowers. Purchase a beautiful 12" pot of hanging flowers for a loved one that comes with a customized hand-written note, and have them delivered. Visit their Order Page to reserve yours before May 7th

Calvary UMC's Food Pantry
The Calvary UMC Food Pantry, located at 2179 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft, is currently open on Mondays and Thursdays from 2 to 5pm. They are now distributing food via drive-though, and have changed their regulations so that they can distribute food to anyone in need, regardless of income. Please feel free to utilize this resource or refer your neighbors in need.

Feed the Hungry
During this time of economic uncertainty and unemployment, we want to make sure that no one goes hungry! Visit our Feed the Hungry page to find out ways to serve meals and donate food to those in our area.

How Are You Serving?
Have you found a creative way to serve your neighbors during this difficult time, or do you know of someone in our church body who has? We'd love to hear from you so we can support you and invite others to join!
