The normal experience of a Christian in this world is to face suffering and persecution. God allows us to go through testing, but he does it to refine us and strengthen us. He knows the length of the persecution and trials we're going through. As difficulties move across our lives and the landscape of our country, we can set our eyes on Jesus and take comfort in the midst of loss, knowing that He is here with us in our suffering.
