Ready For The Day of the Lord

Paul reminds the church that the exact time of Jesus’s return cannot be known—it will come suddenly, like a thief in the night. While others may be caught off guard, we are called to live as children of the light, awake and alert. Instead of fear, we are to wear faith, love, and hope like armor, confident in the salvation God has given us through Jesus. Whether alive or asleep in death, we will live together with Him. Therefore, we should spend our time focusing on living faithfully, readying ourselves, and preparing for Jesus’s return, while encouraging and building one another up.
