A Gospel Center Church: 1st Thessalonians 1:1-10

We began a nine-week series in Thessalonians, using the Sistine Chapel as an image of how God restores His church through the gospel. Though small and persecuted, the Thessalonian church radiated the beauty of the gospel, serving as a model for us.

We saw three marks of a gospel-shaped church:

1️⃣ The gospel comes with power and changes lives.

2️⃣ The gospel makes us examples to others.

3️⃣ The gospel turns us into witnesses to the world.

What kind of church we are becoming because of the gospel, and what kind of Christians we are becoming as it transforms our lives?
