Weeds in Our Garden: HOPE-IT'S NOT OVER.
Seth reminded us not to focus only on the problem but to look to the answer God provides. Faith is not a force field against pain. If you find weeds in your garden, it doesn’t mean you are less spiritual—it simply means you are human.
In Second Corinthians 1:3–4, we are reminded that God comforts us in our troubles so that we can comfort others. Often our pain becomes the bridge God uses to connect us with someone else who is hurting. The weeds are not the end of our story.
In Act 16:25–31, Paul and Silas worshiped while in prison, and God used that moment to bring salvation to the jailer and his family. Even in hardship, God is at work. Philippians 1:3 reminds us that God continues the work He has started in us, even through the lows of life.
At the end of the message, Seth invited us to cast our pain, grief, and struggles onto the Lord by writing them on a paper weed and placing it in God’s garden—trusting that He is the best gardener and will continue His redeeming work in our lives.
