Weeds In Our Garden: It's Okay Not To Be Okay

Feb 1, 2026    Seth Hankee

Drawing from Isaiah 61:1–3, we are reminded that Jesus cares deeply about the “weeds” in our garden—those struggles that often have complex, hidden roots.

We are not meant to face these challenges alone. Healthy relationships are essential to our well-being, while isolation only allows the weeds to grow. This message affirms that it’s okay to reach for help, to acknowledge that we are not islands, and even to admit when we’re not okay. Jesus came for the sick, and in Him we find hope, healing, and restoration.
