Part Four: The World

The third enemy of the soul, the world, is an ordered system of beliefs, values and ideologies under the influence of Satan, the god of this world, that are opposed to the gospel, opposed to God, and opposed to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of God is the counterculture against this world, because Jesus has overcome it for us and we are now empowered through His Spirit to stand strong, resist its allure, and offer to others a taste of new life in Him!
