I Am the Light of the World

Though we're surrounded by darkness and distractions, we can find eternal truth in Jesus, the one who has been the light of the world from Genesis on. Jesus is our salvation, our deliverance, our welcome and hospitality, our healing and our sustenance. Whatever may come in the weeks and months ahead, we as the people of God are a people of hope, a people of peace, and a people of the light. Beryl Jantzi, our overseer in the Virginia Mennonite Conference, preaches for us on Jesus' statement "I Am the Light of the World" in John 8.
