Greenmonte Kids

We love kids!  We want to see them grow their roots deeply into God's love and truth and become fully devoted followers of Jesus.  Our children's leaders & volunteers are dedicated to creating an environment where children are consistently exposed to the love of Jesus and the teaching of the Bible.

Greenmonte Kids' Church for pre-K through 5th grade is offered every Sunday during the 11:00 worship gathering. Children sit with parents through the worship portion of "big church," then are released to go downstairs for Kids' Church.  The time includes teaching, worship, crafts, and games. In 2021, our theme will be "Our Amazing God!" and will dig into topics like

  • the characteristics of our amazing God--what makes Him so special
  • how and why should I follow Jesus
  • the characteristics of a Spirit-filled life
  • the role of the Church
  • and more!

Special Events are held throughout the year to help parents, families, and kids grow in their faith and have fun together. The goal of these events is to help strengthen family bonds and, most importantly, to keep Christ at the center of the home.

Greenmonte Youth

Our Youth Group is for 6th - 12th graders. Youth Group is a place for young people to learn how to be disciples who are living to know and love Jesus. And we have a blast while doing it! We want our youth to have an experiential knowledge of who God is, so that foundation of their lives will always be built on the Rock.

Youth Group takes place every Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the home of Dane & Sunnie Barr, youth group leaders. At these meetings we hang out, play games, and learn more about Jesus and the Bible.

Bible Studies are held periodically during the worship service. We meet downstairs for a portion of the service for Bible study and discussion.

Outings & Events are held periodically throughout the year. These can include hiking, parties, and other fun activities.

If you would like to find out more about Youth Group, feel free to reach out to our youth group leaders,  Dane & Sunnie Barr.
