Resurrection Power in Affliction

Paul prayed to know the power of Christ's resurrection, and to share in his sufferings (Philippians 3:10). For Paul -- and for Jesus -- resurrection power was closely tied to affliction. When we to through trials, if we believe, we too will experience the power of Jesus presence with us as he fills us with his Spirit, giving us resurrection power to become witnesses for him on earth - come what may.
