Exodus Part 15: Trust and Obey

On Sunday, Seth shared from Deuteronomy 1, where Moses reminded Israel of God's faithfulness as they stood on the edge of the Promised Land. God had already given them the land and called them to trust Him by moving forward in obedience.

Many of us miss out on what God has for us because we choose the comfort of the familiar over trusting God's promises. God desires to move us from being part of the crowd to becoming people who trust Him enough to step into all He has prepared for us.

Moses reminded the Israelites of God's character—how He had led, provided for, and carried them "as a father carries his son." The root of all rebellion is ultimately unbelief in God's goodness. Remembering God's goodness and faithfulness strengthens our trust, helping us step forward in obedience rather than shrinking back in fear.
