Love Has Come

The world keeps waiting for power to change things—believing that if the right people are in charge, everything will finally be made right. But Advent announces something radically different: the world has already been changed, not through power, but through love. God chose love when He sent Jesus into the world; that love moved toward our deepest need, gave itself without condition, and even loved enemies at the cost of the cross. And now that same love lives in us by the Spirit—to help us bear witness to a different kind of kingdom. The world will not be transformed merely by Christians gaining power, but by Christians embodying the self-giving love of Christ.
