The Presence of Peace

Isaiah 9:1–7 promises hope and light to a people in darkness through the coming Messiah, called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. True peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Someone—God Himself. The problem isn’t heaven, hell, or God; it’s the human heart. And the solution is the presence of God, shining into our darkness and bringing lasting peace.
