Faithful In Exile

In Daniel 1:1-8, we learn how Daniel and three of his friends are taken captive by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. During their time in captivity, Daniel chooses not to defile himself by eating the king’s rich food or drinking the wine, remaining faithful to God rather than conforming to Babylonian culture. Similarly, through our commitment to community, a strong biblical foundation, and our gospel identity, we can confirm our identity in Christ and become the disciples He calls us to be.
