In Isaiah 6:1-8, we see that the prophet Isaiah has to experience several things before he can be sent by God: a real experience of God's presence, an awareness of his own sinfulness, and an understanding of God's grace and saving power for him. May we find ourselves in a similar place of true surrender as we make ourselves completely available to whatever the Lord would ask of us.
