Full Retreat Schedule
Friday, Sept 5th
- 10:00 AM - Wilda opens. Campers may arrive anytime.
- 4:00 PM - Pickup Kickball or Softball (Location: Field) Run the bases to work up an appetite.
- 5:30-7:00 PM - BYO Dinner (Location: Pavilion) Bring your dinner to the pavilion to fellowship with others.
- 7:00 PM - Vespers (Location: Fire Pit) Campy worship time with a special speaker.
- 7:30 PM - Ice Cream Sandwiches & Beach Ball Game (Location: Field) Share some laughs and ice cream with your church family.
- 8:00 PM - Nighttime Field Games (Location: Field) When the sun sets, the fun begins!
- 10:00 PM - Quiet Time
Saturday, Sept 6th
- 7:30 AM - "Sonrise" Devotion and Prayer (Location: Firepit) Start your day off with scripture and prayer.
- 8-9:00 AM - Breakfast on your own
- 9:30-10 AM - Parachute Games (ages 2- 6) (Location: Field) Silliness with a parachute.
- 10:00 AM - Rock Painting (Location: Pavilion) Join artist Kari as she leads a rock painting class. All supplies provided. All ages welcome.
- 11:00 AM - Amazing Race (all ages) (Location: Pavilion) Compete with other teams in a race to complete all the challenges.
- 12:00 PM - Noon BYO Lunch (Location: Pavilion) Bring your lunch to the pavilion to fellowship with others.
- 1:00 PM - Guided Wilda Walk (Location: Pavilion) Explore the property with the Miningers while getting to know your church family.
- 1-4:00 PM - Open Swim (Location: Lake) NO Lifeguards will be on duty. Parents, please be sure your children have PFDs and are watched carefully. Per state law all persons in a boat must have a PFD.
- 4:00 PM - Hunt for Jesus (ages 2-6) (Location: Pavilion) Try to spy all the tiny Jesus dolls.
- 4:30-5:30 - All-Age Olympics & Team-Building (Location: Pavilion) Test your physical and mental boundaries with these family-friendly
events. - 5:30-7:00 PM - Family Dinner *provided* (Location: Pavilion) Greenmonte will provide the sub sandwiches while you provide the conversation.
- 7:00 PM - Vespers (Location: Firepit) Campy worship time with a special speaker.
- 7:30 PM - S'mores and Storytelling (Location: Firepit) Enjoy something sweet while participating in an interactive story time.
- 8:00 PM - Glow-in-the-Dark Soccer (Location: Field) Gear up with glow bracelets before playing this soccer match.
- 10:00 PM Quiet Time
Sunday, Sept. 7th
- 8-9:00 AM - Breakfast on your own
- 10:00 AM - Sunday Worship Service (Location: Field) Gather your camp chairs around the worship team and enjoy Sunday morning together!
- 12:00 PM - Potluck Lunch (Location: Pavilion) Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Meat will be provided.
- 1-5:00 PM - Open Swim with lifeguards (Location: Lake) Lifeguards will be on duty. Parents, please make sure your non-swimmers wear a PFD. Also, those using boats need a PFD.
* Please return any flotation devices to the gazebo and pull boats to the edge of the lake. Waterslide mats need to be laid out to dry near the sand pile. - 5:00 PM - Clean up All trash out, pavilion sprayed off with hose, collect left over items
