Trustee Ballot 2023
We invite you to vote for three candidates for Trustee recommended by the elders. According to the terms of our Bylaws, we are currently operating without trustees.
Our bylaws stipulate that we "shall maintain a minimum of three Trustees." The responsibilities of the Trustees are as follows:
1. Serve as the official, legal servants in matters of business.
2. Serve on the Stewardship Ministry Team and/or Elder Team
3. Serve as custodians of the church property, which shall include its proper maintenance and insurance, etc.
4. Shall act on behalf of the church in selling and acquiring property.
Trustees shall be recommended by the Elders and affirmed by 75% of the covenant partners present during the Congregational Life meeting. They will not have a term limit, but must be in active covenant with GMC while serving. The elders are therefore introducing the following nominees and recommending all three for the three trustee positions: Steve Pittman, Kim Reade, and David Brenneman.
