Everyday Miracle
Ephesians 5:22–33 paints a beautiful picture of marriage as a reflection of Christ’s relationship with the Church. Wives are called to respect and support their husbands, while husbands are called to love their wives with the same self-giving love that Christ showed for His people. This passage reveals that marriage is more than a partnership—it’s a sacred mystery designed to display God’s love and unity.
Marriage itself is a miracle—how else can two imperfect people come together through a perfect God? In this divine design, two broken individuals vow to love one another with the grace and strength that only God provides. Through this covenant, God uses love, sacrifice, and forgiveness to shape both hearts into His likeness. The mission of marriage, then, is not merely happiness, but holiness.
