Wholehearted Devotion: The Life of King Josiah

Josiah’s reign is remembered for his wholehearted devotion—2 Kings 23:25 says no king turned to the Lord with all his heart, soul, and strength like him. From a young age, as told in 2 Chronicles 34:1–3, Josiah began to seek after God and purge the land of idols. His story reminds us: It all begins with a heart to seek after God relentlessly. Boldly obey God’s word. Disrupt the status quo and be bold. Our devotion to God should always lead us back to the Lamb.
