In Genesis 18:16-22, we gain insight into Abraham's relationship with God and his role as a champion for justice. The Lord expresses His plan to investigate the situation in Sodom and Gomorrah. Concerned about the fate of the righteous, Abraham intercedes, asking God if He would spare the cities for the sake of a specific number of righteous individuals. This passage reminds us that, like Abraham, we are called to be a blessing to the world around us.
